nohairror connects people — clients looking for a hairdressing service and hairdressers who provide it. Much of this happens in person. This page helps you understand the risks, reduce them, and know where what the platform can arrange for you ends and your own judgement begins. Please read it before your first booking.

1 · Platform role

nohairror is a contact intermediary. We let hairdressers present their services and let clients find and book them — that is the full extent of our role. We are not the hairdressers' employer, nor the provider of the hairdressing service. That is provided solely by the independent hairdresser, and the service contract arises directly between them and the client. We are not present at the appointment and have no control over how it goes.

2 · At your own risk

Every in-person meeting arranged through the platform — whether a client visiting a hairdresser or a hairdresser visiting a client — you undertake at your own risk and responsibility. The platform does not vouch for the safety of the meeting, for the behaviour, reliability or intentions of the other party, or for the condition of the premises where the service takes place. We cannot see or influence these things.

3 · What we do and what we don't

What we do: we verify hairdressers' business status to the extent we consider necessary, run reviews tied to verified bookings, and let you report problematic behaviour.

What we don't do: we do not run background checks, we do not verify identity beyond the details provided, we do not inspect premises, and we are not present at the meeting. We say this openly so you don't rely on protection we cannot give — and use your own judgement instead.

4 · Safety recommendations

Before the meeting, read the other party's reviews and profile, agree clearly in advance on the scope, price and place — your booking details stay on record — and tell someone close to you where you'll be and with whom.

During the meeting, trust your instinct. If something feels wrong, you have every right to end it — no booking is more important than your sense of safety. In an emergency, call 112.

For a home visit, ideally don't be alone and have the service take place in a space near the entrance. When travelling to a client, tell someone close where you're going and arrange to check in afterwards. For a first visit with someone new, consider a time of day when there are people around.

5 · Reviews as protection

Reviews aren't only about the quality of a haircut — they are the strongest tool for judging the other party in advance. Read the text, not just the stars, take their number into account, and contribute your own; an honest review after a meeting protects the people who come after you. Remember, though, that reviews reflect others' past experiences — they're a good guide, not a guarantee.

6 · Payment and financial safety

Payment for the service is made directly between the client and the hairdresser — the platform does not process payments. Pay only the amount you agreed on and that was shown at booking, and ask for a receipt. Be cautious of unusual requests, and never send deposits or booking fees to private accounts.

7 · When something goes wrong

In case of an immediate threat to life or health, call the emergency line 112 at once. If a crime has occurred, contact the police (158). Report problematic behaviour on the platform — fraud, inappropriate conduct, breach of the terms — to us; we will assess your report and, where justified, take action. Raise a complaint about service quality (not safety) directly with the hairdresser.

This page is no substitute for common sense. Your best protection is your own attention, good preparation, and respect for your own boundaries.

This is sample wording for the visual design — the final text will be supplied by the legal department.
